Well the program has changed so much since 2005 and to be honest if it was me and I could spare the cash I would upgrade to 2012 as the price is so good and won't be repeated until next christmas.
For $159 you can have an all singing dancing band in a box on a hard drive that will give you many hours of enjoyment and all the new fab realtracks.
You'll probably find that buying a few things separately for biab will add up to well over that anyways, so the special that is to end soon is the way to go!
