Have been a Band-in-a-Box user for about 10 years, have used it throughout that whole time without having to become a guru. Just got 2012, and love it.

For the most part, I've been very content over the years, and I've got a lot of miles from it. About every 2 or 3 years, I buy the update because PG has kept improving the program.

One thing, though. I have an arrangement of 'Chega de Saudade (No More Blues)' that starts with a measure of Dm followed by a measure of Dm/C (it resolves to E7/B, like most such opening phrases in Brazilian music).

It drives me nuts that the Dm/C measure is nearly always (actually ALWAYS, so far) assigned to a pattern that plays 4 straight quarter-note chords in both the guitar and piano. In a music that relies so heavily on syncopation, that's a 'stand up and take notice' pattern that really doesn't belong in such a prominent and frequently encountered location. I've been living with it in that position for 3 years now, and it's starting to get old.

I can't seem to get rid of it, and I've tried muting most of the relevant patterns in stylemaker, but no luck. RealTracks patterns must not be set up to respond to stylemaker.

Is there anything I can do to identify and mute that pattern? I was hoping it would go away with the new bossas, but it seems as though it's in every single bossa style released in RealTracks.

I'll put this in the wishlist if that's where this needs to go. I'd like to find out, though, that I've overlooked something.

Thanks.
