doughoople Newbie D Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 10 Berkeley, CA	Loading times for RealTracks appear to be much improved in 2012 vs. 2009 I just upgraded from 2009 to 2012, and the loading times for RealTracks are quick enough now that I can work with them full time. In 2009, they were slow enough that it was very frustrating. I would seek out MIDI tracks to avoid the wait. So close, and yet so far. Freeze was handy for things that were 'in the can.' But I always felt boxed in when I froze a track, so I avoided it whenver I could. Just looking around the preferences menu, I can see that the 'speed up generation of realtracks' option is checked in the RealTracks preferences, so it's enabled by default on installation. If that's the secret in the sauce, it's working. Depending on your computer, YMMV. But I don't feel hampered by the load times for 2012 like I did for 2009.
