Hi folks, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Tim Lawrence. I live In Long Beach California with my wife Debra. I've been legally blind since birth and totally blind for about 10 years now. I worked as a computer programmer for 25 years here in Long Beach at the Long Beach Navel Ship Yard. I retired about 10 years ago after losing the rest of my sight. Since then I've been pursuing my first love which is song writing. I play the guitar and a little piano. I've been interested in Midi for about 10 years, and have played around with BIAB part of that time. I have a Tyros1 which I use as my external midi module these days. It's hooked to the computer via a USB port. I just recently upgraded to BIAB 2012 and am amazed how far the software has advance since I first started using it back in 2005. The real tracks are just fantastic. Here's somethin' I did back in 2006 using BIAb with a sound card synth, a Jv8-80 and a Prodius. Mixed it via Sonar.
