Greetings everyone, new to the forums, and in reading through them it is clear there are lots of talented people here.
Here's my question, and I hope I can make it clear.
Is it possible to have BIAB installed on my laptop (with the wma files installed) and also have the audiophile version on my external hard drive? Here's what I would like to do: I'd like to be able to work on songs/arrangements on my laptop using the wma files. Save the file, and then when I am ready to burn the final version, run BIAB off the disk with the wav files? This way I get the best quality in my final recording, but I don't have to lug around the extra hard drive when traveling. In other words, I'd like to be able to run two separate instances of BIAB, one off my laptop hard drive using the wma files, save any work done with that version as a BIAB file, then later open up that file with the wav (audiophile) version to get the final burn with the higher quality wav files.
Thanks for any thoughts or input.
