Hi, Most midi files will have a setting written in them to set the sound. I find it much easier to work with midi files in Realband rather than BIAB. It's possible to use Patch Select Dialog to change the sound and the Event Editor to get rid of things that are not necessarily needed.  The Event Editor is something that is worthwhile learning to understand if you want to get a handle on midi. Regards, Noel
