Options - resolution; raise it to 3920.
Makes the mouse grab much more accurately in the edit window.
In RB the resolution affects not only the MIDI tracks but also the 'chunk' size of audio in the audio edit window. At one time it was possible to enter CC changes in the Event list for audio tracks, and this is a carry over from those days.
FWIW audio edits do not have to match at the zero crossing, they just have to match. Many people find using the zero point much easier, but if the waveform lines up above the line there will often be no tick also .. as long as they line up well.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
