Note to all reading this thread - you all should go over to the wishlist section and ask for auto-cross-fading as a feature in RB and PTPA. Once you get used to nearly instantaneous auto-cross-fading that's available in many other DAWs, you will not ever go back to doing it the hard way like this.
This is something that has nothing to do with VST tempo locking or ASIO, so I'm guessing that the PG programmers have the skills to accomplish this.
