Google - Yamaha Sysex Editor - have a look at various offerings such as Midi-Ox 6.0.
I used to have an early model Yamaha 3000 and developed the Sysex coding appropriately for recording to tape. However, with the ability to record Midi to Audio and then apply audio effects this became my preferred option. I now record Midi as dry as possible without any Midi effects.
Real Band has a basic Sysex Libarian built in which can be used to develop and save Sysex instructions for further use.
