I once used white out and a pencil to take off a line and add one. Then it got lighter and lighter until I really didn't need it anymore.
I still have to visualize a line at the bottom at times to get my brain to focus.
Grace notes? Really? Who plays them unless you are in a band with a dozen or more guys. The best players seem to just add them in the best musical spot.
I can do this with some Baroque stuff in our band. We are in fact encouraged to ornament.
