Here is song #8 in the FAWM challenge. It is all midi this time. I used Orchestral Piano Arpeggios style. The instruments are 33 Bass Acoustic string bass 1 Acoustic Piano 61 French Horn 50 Slow Strings SING Thanks to everyone for the feedback on the songs thus far.

This weeks challenge for FAWM was called Big Topic, meaning some type of big life topic. War, racism, and hate gave me the idea for this song. It is song 10 of 14½. Song 12 of FAWM I went with a minor key progression. The instruments did not save so I am not sure what the numbers are. they are Electric bass, drums, Acoustic piano, lead guitar, Electric dreamy rhythm guitar. I Give To You

Thanks Tommy C, and Tim for the feedback. Tim you can find Fawm at Fawm.org. It stands for February Album Writing Month. The goal is to right 14 songs in 28 days in a non leap year. In a leap year the goal is to write a14+ a half song, lol. It means you collaborate on at least one song, although it is not mandatory.

On this song I used a different method for mastering. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Let me know what I can do to improve the quality of the sound. It is song 13 in FAWM, I am almost done. Thanks everyone who has been listening throughout and all of the feedback. It is much appreciated. I am listening to it all, and I plan on going through and remixing some of these songs using the tips I have got. With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are also new electric blues RealTracks, including electric blues with PG favorite Johnny Hiland (3) and soulful electric slide guitar from Colin Linden (4). Our new country & Americana RealTracks deliver a rich collection of acoustic, electric, and roots-inspired styles! We have new country pop (9) with legendary guitarist Brent Mason. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing. Finally, we have “background soloing” acoustic guitar (12) with Brent Mason — simpler, but still very tasty acoustic lines designed to sit beautifully behind vocals or act as a subtle standalone solo part.
