The recording function has that as an option. Check what is checked or not when you do it. The other thing is to make sure you mute all tracks after, 'cause if you press play you get a new drumtrack that plays along. So to hear ONLY what you got on the record take, you need to play only that audio.

Again as to how I workflow this, but I start a folder that says SongA1.

Then in that folder I put the band in a box song.
I record there, there is a .wav file in there after the recording.
I listen to that, not the band in a box output like bass and drums etc.

This is a matter of settings and how you operate the steps in your work.

Others probably do this another way.
