OP Keith McIntyre Enthusiast K Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 40 San Diego	I'm running BIAB 2011 for Windows... I'm using the chord substitution window to experiment with alternate chord changes. Nice feature. The issue I have is that I can't easily preview the chord substitution while the Chord Substitution window is open. If I highlight bars and press F10 to loop them, then bring up the Chord Sbstitution window I can change the chords in the chord sheet, but the playback engine keeps looping the original chords (even though the chords displayed don't match). I see no way to audition the proposed chord substitution from within the Chord Substitution window. So I have to replace the chords in the chord sheet, exit the Chord Substitution window, regenerate the song, see if I like the proposed changes, if not manually reenter my changes, highlight the chords again, and reenter the Chord Substitution window. I really don't get the restore button (or the all button) given the inability to audition changes while the Chord Substitution window is open. They would be useful if I could change the chord sheet, regenerate the song and hear the new changes, stop playback and the use the restore button within the Chord Substitution dialog to go back to my original chords. But as mentioned, I can't regenerate the song while the Chord Substitution dialog is open. A non-modal dialog??? Thanks for your consideration.
