You can use the push option to play a chord an eighth or sixteenth note before the beat.
you can execute a push in two ways.
1 while in the chord window Type the caret symbol [^] before the chord to push by an eighth note or 2 carets for a sixteenth note.
Examples:
eighth note, ^c
Sixteenth note, ^^c
2 You can also open the Chord options dialog by pressing alt f5 and execute pushes that way.
