I am really looking to get one of these so i can record my bass and vocals better. http://www.ebay.com/itm/M-Audio-Fast-Tra...=item27c3fdabbb . Will it record ok with BIAB? will it need a phantom power for my Sure pg58 mic. I don't want to get this if i need to get something with phantom power also. I was hoping to kinda plug .

If it is a current model, I know it does support phantom power. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/FastTrkUSB2 But the picture on eBay didn't look like this. Ask Mitch on this forum; he had one to sell.

The pic from Sweetwater is the Fastrack (not the PRO model). Both versions can be seen HERE The Fast Track Pro has phantom power...no need for anything additional.

Which version of Windows are you using? The Fast-Track's ASIO driver is incompatible with Band-in-a-Box, unless you're using Windows 7 64-bit.
The MME driver should still be ok though, and both the the ASIO and MME drivers should be ok in RealBand.

Did not know that ! I have Win 7 64 bit, guess that's why it's always worked fine for me in both BIAB and RB - I used ASIO only in both apps.
