There are about 3 flavors of broadcase wav files (versions 1,2 and 3). In the past when I've run into people asking this question, they are generally trying to acertain if the wav file is a version that has SMPTE and loudness information incorporated into the meta-data of the file.

If the OP's question actually is "Do BIAB wav files contain SMPTE meta data?", then I believe the answer to that is no. When I've dropped BIAB wav files into my SONAR projects, the don't automatically line up with specific points on the timeline.
