That is certainly a consideration, the 64bit version would be nicer standalone or if you have a 64bit DAW you also plan to use it in. As far as using it in Band-in-a-Box I was thinking it would be cleaner to have one VST.DLL to deal with.

I've been using Amplitube & SVX for 2 years & abt 1-1/2 years on the win7x64 machine. It just installed were it should. I think I'd uninstall both versions and do a reinstall paying close attention to any questions asked.But first try this.I'm thinking that when he tries to "addVSTi" in RB he's navigating to the wrong one.If he looks in C:/ he'll find there's a "Program Files" folder & a "program Files(x86). Each of these folders has a "VST Plugins" folder. Each of these folders has an AmpliTube 3.dll. If you've navigated to the "program Files" folder then the the "VSTPlugins folder and click on that Amplitube3.dll you'll get an error. You need to go into the "Programfiles(x86)" folder. Hope this is clear.
