When I first proposed to my wife back in '75 she turned me down three times. But she finally accepted once I asked her in person, and not over the phone. Looking back, I should have written her a song and sang to her a proposal of marriage. Its never too late to learn from your mistakes, so here goes... A Walk Through Paradise I used BIAB2009 for the arrangement. Thanks for listening. Any suggestions, critiques, or compliments are all appreciated.

Tom, this is one super song!
I loved the lyrics and one can tell you’re singing from your heart.
I’ll bet this one really tested your singing range. It sounds like this song covers your entire range! This is not a criticism just an observation but if the song was a half a step lower you might not be able to reach those low notes. Good job on the vox though and a real good mix.
I arrived early to a restaurant.
The manager asks, "do you mind waiting a bit?"

Wow you must have covered just about the whole chord gamut. Nicely done. You have a nice voice. Easy on the ears. At the beginning it was just a tad overbearing to the instruments but as it progressed it started blending better. Good on ya Mate. I like it. I shoulda used those words on my wife when we got married. Except, she proposed to me.

Mario, thanks for listening and the nice note. I originally had the song a whole step higher but my wife thought I was too strained on the high notes so I took it down a step. The ol' range just isn't what is was 35 years ago when I should have written this song for her. LOL
Russ, appreciate the comments. That's funny that your wife asked you, instead of the other way around. That's gotta be a fun story to tell at cocktail parties. But I'll bet she only had to ask you once. Haha.

I agree with others re: the lyric but don't sell the melody short. In my mind's ear I hear a full orchestra playing this melody as a music score in a film. Nice job Tom.

LOL @ phone...
This sounds very good. Nice job with the instrumentation on this.
The only nit-pick, the Violin competes with the vocal in spots, kinda distracting.
But, this sounds great, very nice BB work.
