I am currently playing gigs for free in rehab. Those folks love their music and they aren't allowed out so I bring it to them (kind of reminds me of Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison)

Sam, you've just won a permanent place in the cockles o'me wee Oyrish 'art! I am in a long term care facility (nursing home) and there is a minstrel/troubadour that brings his flattop acoustic in and entertains us just for the smiles that he invokes on us.

He sings 50s covers so I certainty hope the new copyright cops don't mute him. As a deterrent to theft, we are not allowed to carry any cash so he doesn't even get tips. Gotta love the likes of you guys.

Thanks, Sam!

On behalf of all wandering minstrels, you're more than welcome, Don. We do it for the hell of it and to bring a little hope and happiness. I am also organising free karaoke sessions so it is not just me singing but anybody else who wants to can join in.

Thanks to you too, Jan. I appreciate the praise.
