I have purchased PowerTracks before, upgraded to later versions, I think the latest I have is 2010.

Frankly, I have hardly ever used it before. My main sequencer/DAW is Sonar. I am also a long-time BIAB user, and for the last few years I have purchased the Ultra-Paks, with all the RD and RT, and of course RealBand.

When BIAB 2012 came out in December, there was no new version of PowerTracks announced. I assumed it was probably discontinued, replaced by RealBand.

Yet I just received an e-mail announcing PowerTracks 2012

I could purchase an upgrade to it for $29, not much.

Yet I wonder, would I have any use for it? Does PT 2012 have any features not present in RB2012? Would it really make any sense for someone who has BIAB, RB, and Sonar to buy PowerTracks 2012?

Or is PT primarily designed for people who do not have BIAB/RB, do not have another sequencer program, and wish to buy an inexpensive one?
