Hey Paul,

Very nice second song of the album.

I gotta be honest here though.
I was really digging this tune and feelin' the chills till the drums came in.
At that point I lost the flow.
For me the drums are just too busy for this type of tune.
Of course that's just personal preference and as before others will see it different I'm sure.
For me, tone the drums down a bit and you got another winner here.

On another note, I've been hearing about The EZ keys software.
I must say I'm impressed with the sound you're getting on the piano.

Paul,

This sounds like a lost Styx track from the late 70's - love the sound and feel of this one. Nice job!

I like your song, but I also think the drums need to be more sparse. I sometimes use Country drums when looking for a more simple beat. Other than the drums it sounds like a hit from the 70's good job!

I like the song too but I agree with Tim and Tommy on the drums - I don't mind the intensity on the chorus but on the second verse it would be more powerful if they were backed off some and then brought back in at "you are my world".... my two cents.

Good song Paul and love the production otherwise.

Paul,

Very nice! I does have a little bit of a Styx feel to it. I agree that the drums could be toned down a bit, but it's not a deal killer. Great vocals!

Thanks.. yea I got problems with too much drum on my mixes... lol

I just toned it down and moved the drum tracks to chorus... also added a pad double on the strings..

Great song, very retro sounding. The drums might be a tad over powering as said, but the vocals really good.

ok just reposted the master version.. You guys Rock ....had to step back and walk away from this for awhile.. relistening .. yea the drums totally over powered it.. I put new drum tracks down and lowered the Volume a bit...

Another reason to recircle a mix a couple days later after the newNess of the song has worn off..
