Hi rharv and John [Silvertones],

Thank you for your replies which I will deal with separately.

rharv --- Yes, I have Enable Input Monitoring ASIO checked in the Audio/Preferences window and with 'input monitor insert' selected under Edit DX for the Audio Track to be recorded, I can hear my guitar through Stealth Pedal/RealBand/Amplitube 3 but when I select record nothing records and RealBand freezes. Also if I access VU meters, prior to record, an access violation message appears and RealBand freezes.

rharv --- Yes, I am selecting audio tracks and have used mono and stereo with no difference.

rharv --- Yes, StealthPedal is the only item selected in the Audio input drivers window.

John ---- I am pleased to know that you have StealthPedal and RealBand working together happily so it would appear that there is a solution to my problem if I can only find it!!! PG Support have now given up on me as their last advice was as follows : ---
' There is not much that can be done. Your settings are valid and good, the program simply does not like the driver you are using. You can try using the ASIO4all driver with the device if the native driver is being refused.'
Clearly, your successful set up would refute this and I am not sure that ASIO4all would be a solution as it appears to call up my Creative Audigy inputs and outputs and not those for StealthPedal.

I looked at your other thread and accessed Control Panel/.../Hardware but on my Windows XP system could not find any reference to 'do not map with this device'. Were you suggesting that this might be the solution for me and if so could you please walk me through it? One thing I did find by looking at Hardware was that I had two versions of the StealthPedal Driver present [1.0.0.1 and 1.0.0.8] so I have disabled the first one. According to Windows, StealthPedal is connected and working properly --- which would appear to be correct as far as my version of Cubase Essential 5 is concerned as they work fine together. Also the default Audio device in Windows is the Creative Audigy with no option for change.

I wonder whether there are any settings in the Preferences/Audio window of RealBand that I have incorrectly checked, unchecked or otherwise filled in which is causing the problem. One thing I have noticed is that when I open the Stealth Pedal ASIO Driver Control Panel, the ASIO Driver Open and Streaming boxes are unchecked and cannot be checked. The input ports are [0,1]IK StealthPedal Input 1 and IKS Input 2 with outputs being [0,1]IKS Output 1 and IKS Output 2 and both inputs and outputs are black highlighted.

I am sorry that this post is so long but I would appreciate any help in resolving my problem that may be available. Thank you..

Regards,
Peter J
