Hi Alexander,
Most strange because, unlike endings, introductions are not specifically written for Realtracks. Intros simply use the chords that are written on the page the "a" or "b" part marker to define how they're played.
Thinking on the above, it got me wondering if maybe some of the intro's bars are set to mute for the instrumental track on which you have the Realtrack located. Can I suggest you try the Realtracks in the Piano, Strings and even the Melody or Soloist track to see if the behavior is the same.
If the above didn't help solve the problem, I'd be heading over to "Return to factory settings" found under the Opt. menu.
