Power Tracks Pro Audio is not a synthesizer - it is a DAW/sequencer. DAW's and sequencers do not have internal/inherent built in sounds.

Whatever instrument sound you want or need is completely a function of whatever soft synth, or external HW you might have installed or plugged into your PC. Examples of synths would be: the freely provided MS Windows GS wavetable synth (which sounds, ah um er, ... well not good), Cakewalk's TTS-1, Forte's DXi, Roland Hyper Canvas,... Note the usually, or at least use to be, provided Roland VSC that comes with BIAB bundles doesn't work under 64 bit Win 7.

However, I'm fairly certain NONE of the above listed synths has a tabla sound and it's not part of the GM, GM2, or GS sound set. A sitar is but not the tabla.

A web search of Tabla and VSTi, plugin, or softsynth might turn up some good soft synths/plug ins for free, or a for a modest fee that you might like. Of course, there ARE more expensive avenues that will get you any "normal" or exotic instrument library you want, either as external HW, samplers, or as internal plug ins - and these can be in almost any level of sampled/modeled sound quality you desire and can afford.

Good luck

Larry
