Thanks. I made a demo of exactly that tip, a quick-and-dirty composer's demo of an original I wrote a few months back. The tune is called Blue Cat. Listen to the single cymbal crash at 0:16, and then the drum fill and cymbal at the very end of the tune, and the held chord. Again - nothing special, just enough.
