Try it live with a half-playback and no screen! Hee hee

Seriously, if you want to try that then you need the track to start with no count-in on the first beat of the first bar and have it lined up so that it starts with a footswitch IMMEDIATELY. Quite amusing for testing soloists and vocalists!

A friend asked me for a karaoke backing track for the Beatles' 'All My Loving'. I gave him one version without the first chord and he just couldn't crack it. Put that first chord in and he knows exactly where he is Actually, this is one really good example of where I have used the ACW to good effect - from the ACW I was able to tell where the bar lines were and then copy a bar of the same chord from later in the song and install it precisely where it needed to be. I can't think of any other way this could have been done. Thanks PG
