Please tell me there's a secret way to add my plug-ins to Power Tracks IN BATCH and not ONE AT A TIME!
I keep them all in the same directory.

One at a time it is.We need the ability to scan for plugs of the VST/VSTi nature. Wish list.

Yep, it would be nice if you could just tell PTPA (and RealBand by extension) the folder(s) where VST/VSTi plugins are stored and let the program scan for them. That can also serve to exclude 64-bit plugins right away, so you don't even see them (well, until PTPA/RealBand/BIAB catch up and implement 64-bit versions).
From there, just choose from a list (much like a number of other DAWs do). Yep, sounds like wishlist time.

You can. Open up the PT or RB Folder and look at the bottom for folders VSTPluginlist.ini and VSTiPluginlist.ini. During periodic updates it is possible that the lists could be overwritten, say during a complete reinstall. You can reinstate the content by copying the files from the other program or you can file copies in another locaton as security. You can edit the lists in Notepad to remove unwanted VST or VSTi entries.

That's true, LynB, but I was actually thinking of the programs just being able to scan a higher level folder and create a list of available VST/VSTi's (much like Sonar or Reaper or MixCraft or others do). Then you just choose from that list.

Yes this would be of interest. I have separate folders for VST and VSTis which contain the .dlls for all the programs I have used from time to time and they can be scanned and re-introduced as required although I retain only those used frequently in the immediate list.
