Hi Kerkenat - Yes - difficult to convert audio to midi. You can find threads here on the topic, or Google audio-to-midi. But never a satisfying experience.

But, for some real tracks the midi is available in BIAB! You can tell if the part name at the top of the screen (like bass, piano, guitar, strings) is underlined. If it is, you can see the midi in BIAB and steal it to another program as midi and assign an instrument to it, edit, etc. Other who do this will probably have a good approaches to doing this.
