My web page has embedded WMA files because embedded MP3s wouldn't play in Firefox back in version 3.X but WMAs would.

Well Firefox has moved on in versions, as has WMP, WinOS to 7. Many new configurations out there but my web page is still the same with the embedded WMAs.

Does my web page still playback for everyone??? Would anyone of you with any of the newer configurations be good enough to try and play any of my songs from the drop down Nav bar and see if their native player responds to my current html code.

Your help will let me know if I may have to rewrite the code to make the embedded music files
accessible.

Thanks for your help - I'll be watching and waiting.

Hi Ian. I'm running Firefox 12.0 and your songs show and play just fine.

Agreed, the page and lyrics loads in Chrome, but I see an incomplete message about Windows Media and there is no player.

Matt/Eddie - is this my problem or Chrome's problem?

Guess I'd better do some research. Any ideas?

To complete the Trifecta, Internet Explorer 8 prompts for a plugin of Windows Media Player. When I click OK, your song loads and plays.

Really, fault is not the word. They don't all interpret HTML, ASP and CSS coding the same way. I remember back when I did this MAJOR web page in MSIE. Sent it to the client, who used Netscape, and all the frames were gone.

Hello Ian, running Firefox 12 on a Windows 7 64bit system, seems I must have all the right player plug ins as it works just fine for me here in the UK. Like your music too. Will now see if Opera will run with it and come back to let you know.
Edit to add, yes Opera works too. I won't bother opening Internet exploder, I do dislike it too much.

Ian - It appears that your site is using an unusual java applet which Chrome blocks as a security risk.

Ian,

Listening as I type . . . and I like what I hear.

Did you ever post this one on the music original forum? If you did so sorry I missed it as it really has a easy groovy feel good vibe.

Take Care,
