Someone--Baryshnikov, I think--once said of ballet something to the effect that anything less than the absolute best is boring. That's how I feel about a lot of things, but dance in particular. It's just not my thing. But when I do look in on DWTS and its clones I am generally jaw-droppingly amazed. It's a shame that many of those people are voted off. To my untrained sensibilities they all look first class.
