Hi All
I just recently bought a new computer to run BIB 2012 and Real band 2012. But it doesnt have a midi interface to connect up my synth keyboard to record. Tried to install a new sound card from ebay called ESS Maestro 3 pci audio (WDM) the midi part not compatible with windows 7. drivers wont install properly error code 10. Spoke yesterday to Kent at PG live help. He suggested I try the roland edirol UM- ONE midi to usb cable. So I went to local music shop got one and installed it. When I opened Real band and tried to record the comp screen started to flash some horibble noises screemed and the whole comp crashed . So I figured there must be a clash between the roland drivers and the ESS Maestro ones. I then uninstalled the ESS drivers.And there was no problem crashing. But then I discovered the only audio out sound was coming thru my headset no speakers. Upon opening devise manager said AMD high definition audio device not plugged in. This is strange because it was plugged into to audio out same as before.
So to get the speakers to work for audio out again I had to uninstall the roland midi drivers and AHHHHHH Im back where I started with still no midi connections working !
Any suggestions ?
