If it happens again, I'll do that. Thanks.
It would seem that if you merge two tracks to mono and select that option, it should turn it off, or at least not affect rendering out to WAV. Sounds like a bug to me and is obviously somewhat of a needle in a haystack to find.
I remember now that I had actually previously merged two tracks and selected that option, but didn't think that would affect the "merge" command under Audio, since you don't get presented any options there.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track.
