This original song, I Don't Know Why, was written by my buddy Chris and me back in 2001. It was originally done as a BIAB MIDI arrangement sequenced and mixed in PowerTracks, which was fine at the time. In this case, I updated it using RealBand with all RealTracks plus a little guitar by Chris, as well as using the TC-Helicon harmonizer for the chorus. Hope you enjoy. This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
