Folks, Today was the last Transit of Venus that we'll have the chance to see live. Here in CO, it was too cloudy, but I did get to see the one in 2004 out in the parking lot at work using a cardboard box pinhole camera and welding helmet. I did write a piano/synth/electric guitar ambient-ish type of thing back then in dedication. Once I learned what it was, I thought it would be a great band name. A song was also o.k. Found out today that Sousa recorded a bombastic thing called Transit of Venus way back in his time.
