I'm still in the dabbling stages of using Band in a Box but it's going way too slowly. I have the Everything Pak. However, I need a completed song. Someone in the forum said there were groups online that post BIAB songs. Can someone give me more info on where to find these? Preferably a slow jazz standard (or maybe funk as a second choice). I don't need "complex". A simple tasty bass line with maybe a light piano in the background and a little bit of percussion. The simpler the better but NOT amateurish. I'll probably edit it a bit, record the melody and post it on YouTube. My subscribing fans are getting impatient and want more!  Thanks very much!

Hi Musica1, You'll get better response to this post if you re-do it under the "Band In A Box for Windows" forum found at this link. This forum is for those of us who have suggestions for program modifications, additions, etc., that PG Music might want to consider for future updates. In the meantime, you might like to have a look at the collections of files found here. These are packaged as zip files and will need to be extracted before they can be loaded into BIAB. Thanks, Noel -- the link at the end of your sentence (below) with the
word HERE in bold lead me to a page that didn't have files -- instead
had an error page of some sort. Can you tell me what the actual http://
address is??
In the meantime, you might like to have a look at the collections of files found HERE.

That was no error page, that is a list of files in Zip format that you need to download & unzip to use.
Right Click each "bbfiles" and select :Save Link As..." in Firefox, or something similar. You then need to unzip each folder to use the files inside, which are a ton!

You can use 7zip to extract RAR files; just google it. It's free.

Thanks. I'm checking them now. Jazzbacks also has single MP3 backing tracks, too.
This is why I got band in a box -- wanted the volumes, etc. of the instruments to be
set differently than typically recorded in a standard backing track.
In the meantime, as a beginning BIAB user, it's mesmerizing!
