I know Tascam has been an industry leader in the past for recording equipment. But they CAN NOT do software!
their drivers are OK on some systems but not on all and they've improved this some over the years but not enough, IMO. they still have driver problems with some systems and so I never recommend Tascam soundcards to anyone.
That and I'm still bitter at them over the Gigastudio fiasco.
regardless, you're much better off with the presonus! be glad you went that way.
