I am working with a friend (long distance) on collaborating on some tunes. She has a notebook computer only. The only thing my friend would do is listen to the tracks I put down and possible add a vocal to a track with a usb mike and send back to be. This is just for sharing ideas. Then when we get something decent we will record at a better quality at my house.
How many tracks will a notebook computer be able to handle using power track files to do this without choking? has anyone else used a notebook with power Tracks for anything (live playing etc).
