A lot of variables there Kristen.
1. Are the rest of the tracks midi or Realtracks or live audio.
2. The specs on the "notebook" will be the biggiest determining factor, I think you'll need to give more information re the notebook.
Someone on the forum with more computer savvy than I can then help, but you'll need to start with the basics.
