Yeah, I got hip to the misspelling shortly after I posted this. I think I put that e in there because I was born in and raised near Terre Haute, IN. And yes, I agree the guitar is more accomplished than the vocal. Heck, I'm still trying to remember the words before I get so old that I start forgetting them. That's a good idea on just doing the singing alone. Rory Block also mentions doing that and learning the melody separately from the guitar part. It's taken quite a while to just get the guitar part and comfortable enough that I can yammer along with it. Stefan Grossman says when you can play the guitar part while you're carrying on a conversation with someone then you're there. Such things have never come easy and you must be patient with yourself and enjoy the steps along the way. Be humble but not shy.

There were a few Hudsons around when I was a kid, but the Terraplane was long gone. I think I read where they would get up to 80 MPH, but the song says 100.
