There's a bunch of wireless mini PC keyboards available for around fifty bucks or so. They're like 7 or 8" long, basically fits in the palm of your hand. The spacebar starts/stops and there's about 20 or so other PC keyboard shortcuts in RB. Don't know if this would work for you or not but it's worth looking into.

I picked up a used Tranzport several months ago and finally got around to setting it up with Biab but so far I'm not getting it to do exactly what I want. Close but no cigar. It is for Biab only, not RB. I've been looking into a mini keyboard because I know it does what I want and it works with both programs. I'm very familiar with using my laptop's keyboard to control looping and the Conductor in Biab but that's awkward on a gig and I may be doing some gigs with Biab. I've been looking at some kind of remote control solutions. I know you John have been very successful using RB in live situations rather than Biab so I've been rereading some of your posts.
