I've never heard of the brand. If you order, be sure it's returnable without a re-stocking fee if it sucks.

All General MIDI does is standardize patch numbers to instrument sounds. It does not specify what it should sound like. So one GM sound module might have a sax that sounds like a sax another a sax that sounds like a kazoo.

Also look for reviews.

It could be great, it could be lame.
