A few years ago I heard a song 1 time that left an impact on me and have never found it. Basis of lyrics is about a soldier who was going to buy a plot of land and build a white house up on the hill. Some other ensuing lyrics take place, no memory of them. Ending of the song is the soldier is brought home and buried in or near the white house on the hill. Been looking off and on for several years, real tear jerker, but great song. Its like it just vanished. Hope one of you may know of it. BTW, it is a country genre. Thank you in Advance. I typed in a short synopis to google and found it..
