Cool!!

Definitely go for the hard drive even if you have to wait. It's worth it and they send it out very fast anyway.

The manual and help files are a 50/50 thing. Some things are explained very well and others are a dogs breakfast to put it bluntly. Don't worry, we'll get you going. Most of us get better info from watching all the videos and not just on Youtube although there's good one's there too. PG has a whole library of them. Look at the tips and tricks forum, Peter has some links posted right there and then there's others on the main website.

You mentioned a lap steel. I take it that isn't a protective harness wify uses?

Moving on, the pedal steel Real Tracks were one of the first RT's to come out after the original RT's were released because practically everyone requested it and all I can say coming from me as a jazz player, they are really good. Then the next year they came out with a pedal steel soloist and that really put some icing on the cake. I use them sparingly quite often and the country guys of course use them a lot. A steel guitar is extremely difficult if not impossible to emulate using midi so these tracks really did it for a lot of folks here.
