I got the idea for this one at McD's. I was sitting outside eating at a table and a little bird landed about 3 inches from my hand and sat there for the longest time. I began to think I wonder where he has been and what he has seen. This was also used for the 'second person' week 8 challenge at 50/90 Songwriting Challenge. Here is the link. The bird is midi. The guitars and drum are Realtracs. 32. Little Bird (Spread Your Wings and Fly)
My TunesPsalm 57:7 My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.

This song is a big departure from my normal type of music. The instruments are all midi with the exception of the real drums. It is 9/8 time. Here is the link 33. Fall On His Grace
My TunesPsalm 57:7 My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.

Hi Robert,
Wow! I've been listening to some of your 50/90 songs. Your songwriting is zooming! "Fall On His Grace" is exceptional. It is lyrically simple, wonderfully melodic and spiritually uplifting; these features makes it highly memorable and perfect for a hymn. It's a real credit to you.
An interesting fact is that 9/8 was regarded by the Church in Bach's day as the perfect time signature because of its association with "3" (i.e. 9 = 3 x 3) and thus the Holy Trinity. For this reason, many of Bach's works are written in 9/8. The Church used to use a circle in the time signature to signify this time signature. If the time signature was anything other than 9/8, the Church used to use a half-circle. In time, this half-circle developed to become our "C" for "common time".
I'm heading back to listen to #33 again, now.
Regards, Noel

Thanks Tommyc, I appreciate all of your feedback. I have always liked the blues. I loved the early blues by Elvis. The sound they got at Sun Studio was amazing. It is funny they call it the blues and yet the music itself is so lively in most cases.
My TunesPsalm 57:7 My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.

This is a contemporary Christian/praise and worship tune. The bass came with the style I added the piano realtrac from a different style. It is song 37 of 50 for the 50/90 challenge. I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to listen, and those who have given feedback. Band in a Box is the perfect songwriters tool. Of course you all know that, Lol! Here is the link 37. I Want To Give You Praise
My TunesPsalm 57:7 My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.

I have been thinking of this song for a long time. I have always wanted to put into music the Passion events. All of the tracks are Acid Music Studio Pro 6 loops, yeah I cheated guys LOL. I took my laptop today and began to listen to different tracks to see what would fit. It covers from Christ walk to Calvary to His Ascension to Heaven. Here is a time line of the events put to music, these may not be exact times but they are close. All feedback is welcome! 000-17s Walk To Calvary 18s-42s Nails and Agony 44s-1m Father Forgive Them, They Know Not What They Do 1m-1m11s Heaven Watches/Chaos Begins 1m12s-1m19s Total Chaos 1m20s-1m39s It Is Finished/The Temple Ripped From Top To Bottom 1m40s-2mn2s Anticipation 2m3s-2m21s The Stone Rolled Away 2m22s-2m28s He Is Risen 2m29s-2m44s Tell The World Our Redeemer Lives 2m46s-3m23s The Ascension Here is the link 39. Calvary To Glory
My TunesPsalm 57:7 My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.

My TunesPsalm 57:7 My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.
