Pat..you're right on. It depends what (or who) the song is being created for as to how it's arranged. Writing for TV/Movies etc. they usually only use about 30-60 seconds of the song anyway, and they specifically ask for music that would not conflict with a voiceover. We have another listing on here, "Leaving Tonight" that's done in this same fashion and it WAS chosen by TAXI.com over a lot of competition to be promoted to LA TV/Movie music directors. Only 6% of submissions get forwarded by TAXI to TV/Movie execs.

If I were to put this song on an album I would add other instruments and probably write a bridge. Might even modulate to a new key for the last verse and chorus. But for this particular listing they wouldn't even hear it...or care. In some cases monotony is beautiful...especially when it PAYS. Haha.
