I'm still at this songwriting business, just had a long dry spell (and a hot one too) Then these lyrics were sent to me to put to music and I was so touched emotionally by these lyrics that I just had to write what I felt would carry the message in them. The lyrics were written by Wayne Stegall so the music is my only contribution. This was all done in BIAB using RealTracks. I congratulate you on a fine effort. You've written a very beautiful and haunting melody. I think your choice of waltz is a terrific fit for both the sentiment of the lyrics and the melody. I'd love to hear it sung.

Thank you all for your comments. Just realized that I forgot to take out the count-in before I made the MP3 to post to soundclick. Oh well, I will be re-posting it to Soundclick when the vocal demo is made by the daughter of the lyric writer.
