Still looking for a way to split out the Drum midi channel 10 to external drum synth. Ok I know I can do it in RB but I loose to much flexibility to make changes in the song structure, like adding a turn around at some specific measure, just click BiaB make it blue or green and now you have a turn around, not in RB. Change the midi drum volume slider worked in RB but the volume don't change. Oh and how about changing song styles in the middle of the song, if I load a BiaB song with style changes RB drops the drums after the style change, so never did figure that out, other then drop the midi track from BiaB to RB, now have the style change but I lose all the turn rounds again. I think RB is a great Midi, audio recorder and track sequencer but to build a cord based song with in RB, nope. It just seem to me with all the flexibility of Biab somebody was asleep at the switch when Microsoft drop the real Midi mapper after win98 and they never incorporated the ability to map the midi channels like you can in RB, I've used BiaB since 2006 but this little thing is starting to really bug me.
So............
Looking for a Midi mapper program like use to be in Win 95 or 98 would take the BiaB midi channels and allow me to decide what sound synth would be used to generate the sound. Like send the Piano sounds to a real good ext. Piano Module or in my case the ext. drums to a good drum synth.

Running out of ideas except find another BiaB replacement program or back load win 98 and see if my 2012 ver will run. I'm not optimistic about finding a answer just hoping somebody may have a idea
