The unit does not have a tape transport. Using the zip disk was cumbersome. To save a wav file involved transferring a small amount of data at a time while shuffling between 2 zip disks. Somebody wised me up that it was simpler to feed the output to the computer and save it as a wav file there. That's about the time that I got Power Tracks.
