Downloaded midi file, right? The CC7 volume is embedded in the file itself. The file is the master and will override anything you manually do on the screen or the mixer. Highlight the track then hit F2. That opens the Event list and everything embedded in that track is there. Before you simply find those and delete them consider that all those CC7's could be adding good dynamics to the song and once you understand how they work you may decide to keep them. Also, you can only do this one track at a time.
