Yes Eddie your “whoever provides the jack” statement is what I got out of that article.
Very good analogy about books and CDs and the libraries. That is a very good point!
On a side note my wife worked at a library that was getting rid of their albums and going all CDs. The librarian knew that I was a musician and allowed me first crack at the collection. I scored about 100 really good jazz/blues albums in mint condition. Plus she was giving them away. The rock ones were all scratched up.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
